25.25 inch scale
Different scales result in different string amplitudes. If the scale is shortened with the same string gauge, "the amplitude of the strings will increase, the sound picked up by the pickup will increase, and the sound will change." And "the tension of the strings will decrease, the touch will be softer when playing, and the sound will change." In this way, the choice of scale is a balance philosophy that determines the foundation of the instrument. This is why Red House uses a 25.25 inch scale compared to existing scales. The 25.25 scale is a scale that Red House considers to be the optimal combination of tension balance and playability, in response to the needs of players who feel that the tension of the 10-46 strings is too tight, but that the 09-42 is not enough.
The 25.25 scale is based on the sharp tone of a long scale of 25.5 inches and combines the rich tone of a medium scale of 24.562 inches. Since the scale is shorter, the tension is slightly softer and you can feel richer overtones.
The 25.25 scale is what Red House considers to be the most balanced guitar scale possible.
