Quarter Scalloped Fingerboard

Quarter scalloped fingerboard

The advantage of a scalloped fretboard is that it allows you to produce sound with a light touch, making it ideal for playing speedy passages. However, it also has a weakness: it can be difficult to play and produce low chords if you are not used to it.

The quarter scalloped fingerboard is an improved version of Red House's original scalloped fingerboard. The fingerboard is carved in a 1/4 size that of a regular scalloped fingerboard, allowing you to play low chords without discomfort, and in high positions you can play speedy passages with a light touch, which is an advantage of the scalloped fingerboard.

This is a new option for modern style guitars offered by Red House.
